Location: Shady Grove Baptist Church 3507 FM 499 Campbell, TX 75422. Doors open at 7:30am class starts at 8:00. For more information call Brett at 972-814-7224. Please bring a lunch, refrigerator available. Due to our location there is no place close to eat. Lunch will be 30 minutes long.
The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course teaches the basic knowledge, skill and attitude for safely owning and operating a pistol. This course includes classroom and range time for semi-automatic pistol and/or revolvers. The class will run approximately 8 Hours. You will need to bring a lunch as there are no eating establishments close, we will only be taking 30 minutes for lunch. A refrigerator will be available. Coffee and water will be provided.
Students will learn:

Pistol parts and operation.

Ammunition types and knowledge.

Shooting fundamentals.

How to select the right pistol.

Target scoring.

Range rules.

Shooting from two handed standing and bench rest positions.

Safe storage of pistols and ammunition.

Students need:

A semi-automatic pistol, revolver or both. Smaller calibers are better to learn with.

100-150 rounds of ammunition in the correct caliber for each pistol/revolver you bring. No reloaded ammunition.

Pen, Note pad and Highlighter.

This is the most taught NRA course nationwide for students who want to learn the proper operation of rim fire or center fire pistols. it provides a solid foundation for accurate shooting for further training or practice whether you are an experienced shooter or have never had formal instruction.
